PRe-care:
Do NOT drink alcohol, coffee or anything with caffeine or blood thinners at least 12 hours in advance.
Please arrive clean and showered. Do not wear makeup on areas to be treated.
Do not tan or have a sunburn near the treated area.
Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments in or around the desired area within 60 days prior to your scheduled appointment.
Do not work out 24 hours prior to your removal appointment.
Do not receive injections (Botox, JuveDerm, Radiesse, etc.) within 4-weeks prior to your scheduled appointment.
24 hours prior, avoid caffeine (coffee, tea, soda, etc.), alcohol.
For lip blush removal, if you have a history of cold sores or fever blisters, an antiviral medication is required to use prior to your appointment and during healing.
For cosmetic tattoo removal, please refrain from using anything to prevent aging or acne: AHA or BHA (ex: retinol, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, mandelic acid, hydroquinone, salicylic acid, lactic acid, etc.) for 2 weeks prior (over the counter), or 4 weeks prior (topical prescriptions).
For brow removal, avoid brow wax, lamination and henna for 4 weeks prior
You may not be pregnant for any treatment.
aftercare:
Apply Silver Gel (provided), with a clean cotton swab 2-3 times for the remainder of the day. No other products should touch the tattoo during healing, other than the mild soap and the after care balm.
Avoid extra sun exposure and don’t use any tanning beds for at least 15 days after the treatment. Apply a SPF 30 sunscreen after the 15 days if you will be out in the sun
Don’t use topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 3 weeks after treatment.
Do not wax or use depilatories for at least 3 weeks after the treatment.
Don’t use any medium or deep chemical peels or laser treatments for at least 3 weeks after your facial treatment.
Don’t use any exfoliating treatments, like glycolic acid or enzymes, for at least 3 weeks after the treatment.
No exercise for 14 days. After 14 days – when exercising, wear a sweatband to avoid sweat on brow area and make sure to not agitate removal area.
No makeup should be applied directly on the tattoo during the healing process. After the tattoo has healed (14 days, OR after the scab/skin flakes off) you may wear makeup at that time.
Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your tattoo following treatment or during healing process.
After the removal process is complete the skin may appear pink for approximately 1 year, it is very important to protect this new skin from the sun with a zinc SPF (SPF30-50) *Do not apply on freshly removed or scabbed areas.
Once the area is 4-weeks healed, book your next session for 5-12 weeks out (as needed).
